300 Miles for Mentoring bicycle challenge

Date: Saturday & Sunday, September 21-22nd
Route: From the Sierras to the City, Truckee to San Francisco
Times: 6:00 a.m. Friday to 3:00 p.m. Saturday
Distance: 300 miles non-stop
Team: Hardy Bullock, Carey Thrasher, Ken Bossung, Chris Barry, Jeremy Schneir, and Scott Hanson.

The TahoeStaff team is back again and planning another epic ride in support of our the children in our mentoring programs in September. Team leader Hardy Bullock has already said that 2011 team members Carey Thrasher, Ken Bossung, Chris Barry and Scott Hanson are all in again, and they are welcoming new rider, Jeremy Schneir into the mix.

2011 ride recap

Route: Truckee to Sacramento (via Nevada City) and back to Truckee
Times: Riders left Truckee at 6 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17 and returned home to Truckee on Sunday, Sept. 18 at noon – 36 hours of riding total.
Distance covered: 300+ miles
Team: Hardy Bullock, Carey Thrasher, Ken Bossung, Chris Barry, Mark Hockridge and Scott Hanson

Loyal supporter of our agency and avid cyclist, Hardy Bullock, organized another 300 mile ride this year with 5 fellow riders: Carey Thrasher, Ken Bossung, Chris Barry, Mark Hockridge, and Scott Hanson. This epic ride is to raise awareness and funding for our valuable mentoring programs throughout the region and started and ended in Truckee, going through Nevada City, Grass Valley, El Dorado Hills and Sacramento Valley along the way.
